Shelly has been teaching lessons professionally for over 30 years.

Shelly's mentors have been  Tom Dorrance , Ray Hunt, Dave Williams, Brad Cameron and Buck Brannaman.
  As a junior rider, her instructors were Sandra McKeon and Vicki Olson. (pictured below) of Carousel Stables, Concord, CA.
